fave canon ships (involving my ocs)

rainbelly / mantisnose / heatherface

these three are obviously a personal favorite...they fit together so well, working in tandem and unity. they all love each other so much...they just make my heart happy. relationship drama is always intriguing, and sometimes it’s fun to focus on the conflicts and struggles of romantic relationships, but i really just enjoy the fact that these three are genuinely happy. they don’t need arguments to be interesting...i adore them just the way they are, and i’m beyond excited to see how they react to the kits they have on the way.

classic swanface / rabbitheart / applenose

i say classic because i haven’t been enjoying this relationship as much recently, largely due to the fact that rabbitheart is, well, dead, and applenose has so many personal struggles that the thought of her focusing only on swanface makes me sad. in their prime, though, these three were wonderful. unlike raintisface, they weren’t one big happy trio...applenose had her jealousy issues, and swanface and rabbitheart had to struggle through quite a bit to get to the point of being mates, but their journeys coming together was what made them so great. the fact that both applenose and rabbitheart loved swanface so deeply that they were willing to tolerate each other to make her happy was sweet. i’ll always remember facenoseheart fondly...it was my first real ship in threeclans and i have quite a few good memories with them.

palestar / dawnpetal

this ship didn’t get as much development as i would have liked, but...just the concept of evil lesbians taking over a clan is wildly enjoyable. they’re not good cats by any means, but i still enjoy them together...they obviously care for each other and are willing to do whatever it takes to make each other happy. they might be on a back burner for now, but i wouldn’t be too surprised to some day see palestar and her grumpy girlfriend return...

batstar / crowstorm

wow, bet you didn’t see this one coming! just kidding. you totally did. i think everyone’s moved past batcrow aside from me and tarn, which...i understand. they’re not the kind of relationship everyone can tolerate. they’re tragic, so star-crossed that they’ll likely never be together, but that’s never stopped me from adoring the potential these two have. even when batstar is ignoring crowstorm at borders, these two have undeniable chemistry. they each have their own relationships, their own responsibilities, their own clans, but batstar and crowstorm have, so far, stuck together through it all. it’s obvious they care for each other, and although loving each other might be in question, i honestly can’t see these two as just friends. they certainly have some feelings lingering, spoken or unspoken. i wish i had the chance to see their relationship fully evolve. i wish they could raise kits together, be wonderful dads, be happy, but...like i said, they both have their own duties to take care of. although they might never work out, they’ll always hold a place in my heart.

poppycloud / sparrowheart

so many of my potential ships start out as little guilty pleasure ships that i’m not too deeply involved in, but...look where we are now. poppycloud and sparrowheart have always had a friendship that’s more flirtatious and romantic in tone than their friendships with their other clanmates, but recently their friendship has undeniably evolved into something more. they are, again, a star-crossed pair, not meant to be...however, i feel like they have a far larger chance of being together than batstar and crowstorm ever did. with cinderstar, forbidden relationship extraordinaire, as creekclan’s new leader...well, i’m not saying he’d turn a blind eye to his deputy and medicine cat giving each other lovey-dovey looks, but...he totally would. it’s just a matter of poppycloud and sparrowheart each acknowledging their feelings and developing them more. right now they work absolutely wonderfully as a pair. they have ridiculous amounts of chemistry and compliment each other in so many ways...not to mention the unique bond they share. poppycloud, though friendly, is still rather emotionally withdrawn. she’s formed new friendships, certainly, branched out and learned to socialize, but...she still feels as though her feelings and thoughts are burdens on those around her. she still struggles to form true connections, to feel like cats care about poppycloud the cat and not poppycloud the medicine cat. sparrowheart is the one cat she’s truly comfortable with. he doesn’t judge her, doesn’t give her any reason to doubt him. i would absolutely love to see these two together, though their current “will they, won’t they” dynamic is also enjoyable.

peachflower / amberleaf

again a ship that started as a sort of sweet “haha, what if.” they’re far less developed than batcrow or poppysparrow, but i’m still definitely interested in their relationship. they have so much in common and they obviously get along well, which is shocking considering how withdrawn and anxious both of them are. overall i just think that they could really help each other find their place within creekclan, help each other feel more comfortable and at home. amberleaf deserves love and support after the disaster that was her relationship with doveheart and the chaos that ensued with their family...i also love the thought of them curling up in the nursery with a whole bunch of kits...double moms are the best moms.

flintpaw / fawnpaw

even though i’ve just recently added flintpaw to my ever growing list of characters, i have to admit i’m already attached. watching from the outside, one of my favorite parts of his development was his relationship with fawnpaw. they’re a great duo, a classic apprentice pair made for trouble. i think they both make each other feel safe, secure, at peace. god knows these boys need as much support in their lives as they can get... anyway. seeing fawnpaw be tender and gentle around flintpaw, seeing flintpaw instinctively drift toward fawnpaw in tense situations...it’s sweet, really. flintpaw’s a medicine cat, of course, which might cause conflict in the future...if dapplestar cares. with rabbitheart being a medicine cat with a mate and kits, i can’t imagine she’d find it in her to really be upset about flintpaw having a little crush.

brindleheart / berrypaw

this one, in comparison with the others listed here, is just in its first stages. however...i like the idea of them as a pair. their interactions have been sweet and simple, and quite honestly, brindleheart is very fond of berrypaw. she’s been something stable in her chaotic life, and i just think that the way these two interact gives them a lot of potential that could lead to cute romantic antics. i’m not in too deep just yet, so we’ll have to see how things here develop!

doveheart / amberleaf

what hasn’t been said about this relationship? i won’t beat a dead horse and write an essay...i’ll just say that i’ve never been a fan of doveamber, and seeing it turn into such a painful experience for everyone involved made me even more secure in my dislike for the ship. they rushed in when they should have waited, which is realistic and understandable but still regrettable. i’m just glad they’ve split up and gone their separate ways now.

rosefrost / alderleap

this ship died off pretty quickly, but while it was going on...sigh. alderleap is, quite frankly, too good for rosefrost...not to mention the fact that rosefrost is far too unstable to be a part of any relationship right now. she’s selfish and self centered, and no one should have to deal with that while she works out her own issues. 

clovertail / honeyflame

okay, okay, hear me out...i don’t despise this pairing. i’m just not a big fan. clovertail and honeyflame have been through so many ups and downs that i honestly feel like keeping track of their relationship status is a lost cause. i get that trying to rekindle an old flame is something that happens, but...i liked these two better when they were apart. i feel like everyone is always going to remember the conflict, the drama with rabbitheart...it just doesn’t go away. i wish they had stayed apart for good -- they don’t need to be together to be happy, in my opinion.

crowstorm / juniperdust

i’ll keep this brief: they were both gay. god knows i adored their friendship (i cried for hours when juniperdust died and left crowstorm on his own), but these two were never meant to be seen in a romantic light.

How I feel about this character: A good girl and a great character that I enjoy interacting with. I love the relationships she has especially with oak because I’m a little bias.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Rain/Heather/Mantis of course 

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Mantis/Oak wlw and mlm singularities 

My unpopular opinion about this character: Almost wish she wasn't made deputy? Like I know why, but it just felt out of left field since I didn't see many interactions between her and Batstar. ALthough I don't disagree, she makes a great deputy.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Similar to Amberleaf in I wish we could see more of her negative qualities. I want to see her get frustrated more! Maybe with Owlpaws training or something of that nature! Or even see her struggle with the new challenges that come with being deputy.

my cross over ship: Uhhh not sure? Don't really have one for her.

a headcanon fact: As much as she would like to have kits, she is perfectly content with never having them. Having her mates and her role as deputy has filled her heart so much that she doesn't feel the longing as much as she used too.
