My all time favourite song— I didn’t hear it every time to reserve the magic (you know that thing about listen to your favourite sound over and over again - it might lose its power). I just start to listen to this song recently cause, I was thinking about a person I knew. I used to write about this person a lot, last year- I think you’ve read about him too. I didn’t know I can ever see him again but hey, there we were, on a bright Saturday we met again at my used-to-be favourite coffee place. It was lasted for two hours, but what are the odds, those two hours did not feel like the usual long like any other day. I tongue-tied a lot, but it didn’t stop me to keep listen and talk. Nothing funny, nothing feelies, just feel like talk about anything.

‘…There's so many things I have to say. I'll stay up all night to hear about your day…’ my brain suddenly sang that lyric on repeat that hour. I got nowhere to go and to do that day, but he got somewhere to be— so we parted goodbye. I sit still, I said I had things to do but I lied- just to avoid awkwardness when we both wait for our ride. Fifteen minutes later under the sunny day (rare day between constant raining) I walked out the cafe and decided to take a walk until nearest bus stop. I pulled my headphone and had my Spotify played Copeland’s ‘Coffee’ twice. What a time to be alive. I know I’m over-glorifying, but lots of best things in my life happened when coffee is involved 😊
