So I'm back, and I'm the happiest person in the world because we finally got our MAO anime adaptation 😭
Let me tell you, the opening is the best thing, it reminds me to Dororo opening which is great, and the music is amazing! I loved the fact that the included my man Hakubi 🤩.
The ending is so cute and has many references to the romantic moments between Mao and Nanoka and we even got Haimaru looking aesthetic.
My General thoughts about the first episode:
I like the pacing, it adapted the full 2 first chapters from the manga, the movements and fights look so smooth, and the voices are magnific! I loved them, especially Mao's voice, I remember refusing to have Yuki Kaji as the main voice but as the time passed by I noticed he was the best choice, I just pray that Yuuma Uchida or Kaito Ishikawa get the chance to be Hakubi's voice.
I'm looking forward for the next episodes and I promise I'll catch up with the manga 'cause I have not read it since 2022... I know, it's a long time but I have been reading what the fandom does and I've check the most relevant events from the story, also I have bought the mangas which are still waiting for me to read them but the latest years have been hard and so busy.
