hey chat, what do i do when someone plagiarizes my fic

i was really enjoying this new maonoka fic and was going to comment my praise and kudos, then i noticed some similarities that i thought might make it a good companion to mine, and then i read further and noticed that chunks of mine were straight up copy and pasted…. for real idk what to do about it?

update: i commented on their work calling it out and reported it too. this feeling really sucks, wow. i keep going back and forth between guilt (for some reason? like i shouldn’t have called them out? but like, i had to) and then feeling like i should have been more firm (my bf thinks i was too nice about it). but now i just can’t shake this icky feeling like i feel violated and i really wanted to enjoy that piece but now i feel like whatever motivation i had to write is kind of crushed at the moment. i’ll get it back but like… i just started this, man. i’m glad someone liked my words enough to copy them but like…. don’t do that shit lol wtf
