These Sweet Potato Burger Bites with Maple Chipotle are a delicious twist on traditional burgers. The sweet and spicy flavors of the sweet potato patties paired with the creamy maple chipotle sauce make for a mouthwatering combination. Perfect for appetizers or a fun meal!
Ingredients: 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and grated. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 egg. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/2 tsp garlic powder. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp maple syrup. 1 tsp chipotle chili powder. 1 cup arugula. 4 small burger buns. 1/4 cup sliced red onion. 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese.
Instructions: Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C. Grate the sweet potatoes and mix them with the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a large bowl. Combine well. Make small burger patties out of the mixture and put them on a baking sheet that has felt paper on it. They should be golden brown and cooked all the way through after 20 to 25 minutes in the oven. Make the sauce while the patties are in the oven. Add maple syrup, chipotle chili powder, and mayonnaise to a small bowl. Mix them together. Put the burger bites together once the patties are done. Put some maple chipotle sauce on the bottom half of every bun. On each bun, put a sweet potato patty. Then, add arugula, red onion slices, and crumbled feta cheese. Use a toothpick to hold the other half of the bun on top. Serve right away and enjoy!
