Instead of regular meat burgers, these cauliflower and sweet potato burgers are tasty and good for you. The taste is great, and the texture is satisfying, so both meat eaters and vegetarians will enjoy them.
Ingredients: 2 cups cauliflower florets. 1 cup mashed sweet potatoes. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1/2 tsp cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 burger buns. Lettuce leaves. Sliced tomatoes. Sliced red onion. Pickles. Ketchup and mustard for condiments.
Instructions: After cooking the cauliflower florets in water until soft, take them out and let them cool. Steamed cauliflower, mashed sweet potatoes, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, finely chopped red onion, salt, and pepper should all be put in a large bowl. Make sure to mix the ingredients well so that the mixture is smooth. Make a patty out of each of the four portions of the mixture. Set the grill or skillet on medium heat and add a little oil to it. The patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and done all the way through. You can grill or toast the burger buns until they are just barely browned. On the bottom half of each bun, put a lettuce leaf. Then, add a cauliflower and sweet potato patty, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onion, pickles, and your choice of ketchup and mustard. Put the other half of the bun on top and serve hot. Enjoy the burgers you made yourself with cauliflower and sweet potatoes!
