For those who enjoy chocolate, these Chocolate Chip Marble Cupcakes are a delightful treat. Perfect for any occasion, they combine the richness of chocolate with a stunning marble pattern.
Ingredients: 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 1 1/4 tsp baking powder. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/4 tsp salt. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1 cup granulated sugar. 2 large eggs. 2 tsp vanilla extract. 1 cup buttermilk. 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips.
Instructions: Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a cupcake tin with paper liners. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt in a medium-sized bowl. Put aside. Beat the softened butter and granulated sugar in a separate, large bowl until fluffy and light. One egg at a time, beat in, and then mix in the vanilla extract. Add the dry ingredients mixture to the wet ingredients gradually, starting and ending with the dry ingredients and alternating with buttermilk. Blend until barely combined. Add the semisweet chocolate chips and fold gently. Spoon the cupcake batter evenly into each of the lined liners, filling it to about two thirds of the way. Using a toothpick or skewer, gently swirl the batter in each cupcake liner to create the marble effect. When a toothpick is inserted into the center of a cupcake, it should come out clean after 18 to 20 minutes of baking in a preheated oven. After letting the cupcakes cool in the pan for a few minutes, move them to a wire rack to finish cooling. You can choose to frost the cupcakes with your preferred frosting once they have cooled. Savor your mouthwatering Marble Cupcakes with chocolate chips!
