These moist and tasty Banoffee Cupcakes are a great way to enjoy the delicious combination of banana and toffee flavors. With whipped cream and fresh banana slices on top, they're a delicious treat for any event.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 2 ripe bananas, mashed. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp baking powder. 1/4 tsp salt. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 cup milk. 1/4 cup dulce de leche or caramel sauce. Whipped cream for topping. Sliced bananas for garnish.
Instructions: Warm up your oven to 350F 175C and put cupcake liners in a muffin tin. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. When you add the mashed bananas, vanilla extract, and dulce de leche or caramel sauce to the butter and sugar mix, make sure everything is well mixed. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl. Add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture slowly, mixing them in with the milk every so often, until the batter is smooth. Fill up each cupcake liner about two-thirds of the way to the top with batter. After the oven is hot, bake the cupcakes for 18 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out clean. First, let the cupcakes cool in the pan for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. After the cupcakes have cooled, put whipped cream on top of each one and decorate with banana slices. Enjoy your Banoffee Cupcakes after you're done making them!
