Too bad.

Bynoctis and Cysolix are moon and sun gods respectively, and Flora is the earth goddess.

Bynoctis made Anajurio and Noxa on his own, and Dewtender is the daughter he had with Flora. Cysolix made Marbori and Shima on his own, and Wishgranter is the son he had with Flora. Lili and Hemdin are Flora’s children.

God, the lore I have for these guys is ridiculous......................

Personality

Being one of the two pure children of Cysolix, it’s not surprising Marbori inherited his father’s ego. This godling is a boisterous and vain individual, often boasting about his many accomplishments to whoever is willing to lend an ear.

Marbori has a strong fixation on the concept of perfection, and believes he himself is the representation of it. He takes criticism harshly and refuses to acknowledge that he may in fact be in the wrong.

Blinded by this perception, he harbors a strong disdain for those in Bynoctis’ family tree. He also doesn’t get along with his half-brother, Wishgranter.

History

Marbori was created alongside the other godlings, coming from Cysolix’s down. He was the younger brother of Shima, who was also created from the down, but was the older brother of Wishgranter, who was made from both the down and Flora’s spores.

Marbori looked after the world as he was supposed to, but treated the mortals with quite a bit of disdain. He did not see much promise in them--especially since they had such limited lifespans and magic.

When the time came for the other godlings to make prototypes and species, Marbori wasted no time making his prototype in his likeness. He created Argon, an individual who very strongly resembled Marbori himself--something the prototype would go on to resent the godling for.

Once he was satisfied with the ins and outs of Argon’s being, Marbori created Masked Magicians, a race of powerful magical beings who needed to keep their masks on their faces in order to retain their memories. This race would go on to be where the Tribe of Ancients branched off from.

However, when Masked Magicians began to intermingle with other species--species from Bynoctis’ side, specifically--Marbori began to grow angry. His views of perfection were getting sullied, and he wouldn’t stand for it.

Marbori has now made it his mission to wipe out any individuals who are ‘unlawful’ crosses between particular species, believing that he is fixing the mistakes of the world.

Though he has the ability to use an almost limitless range of magic, Marbori specializes in aspects of fire and heat.
