If Daken/Bullseye isn’t your favorite ship, can you do the ship question thing with your favorite Daken ship?

Sure! I have a hard time settling on my favorite Daken ship, actually. He's one of those characters who's kind of more fun flittering through multiple paramours without really having one big one, imo. However, I think my favorite Daken ship is still Marcus Roston.

1.When/why did you start fanning over them?

At first, Marcus was just some movie star Daken was screwing around with. Another random victim of his ambitions. But then it was revealed that Marcus was actually the guy behind the Heat drug and the Claws Killer AND connected to the LA criminal underworld. He was just as dangerous (if not more) as Daken. From there, it became a much more interesting dark ship that caught my attention

2.What makes you like this couple?

Just like with Daken/Bullseye, I love how dark and fucked up it is. They're not a functional or healthy couple in the slightest, but they make for an interesting and dramatic story to follow. Daken's such a powerful and smart guy, that it's interesting to see him come across a villain who can play him like a fiddle. They had a wonderful toxicity to one another, but, at the same time, they kind of got each other.

3.Is there anything you don’t like about this couple?

The fact that Marcus just fell off the face of existence after their arc was up. Like I know he's not a big villain or anything, but he was pretty cool all the same. I'd love to see him come back in other arcs to encounter other characters or maybe Daken again.

4.What’s your favorite outfit on them?

5.It’s the birthday of one of them! How do they celebrate?

Allegedly meaningless sexy, maybe trying to kill each other after. Maybe just watching one of Marcus's cheesy movies so that Daken can critique every aspect of it XD

6.How would they react in an embarrassing situation?

They probably caused the embarrassing situation for the other one. In which case, the causer laughs and the victim plots revenge XD

7.What do you think they’ll be like in the near future?

In canon, I guess Marcus is still in the custody of the Runaways. And Daken is still Daken. In the near future if they meet again, though? Then it'd be GAME. ON. to beat one another. And that's why I like them.

8.What’s an ideal date for them?

I have a distinct image of them somehow putting aside the blood feud for an evening to go to a high end Hollywood party and just fucking up all the shit together. Daken insists it has some purpose in helping him build his criminal reputation in the LA crime scene, but really it's just for fun.

9.Who/what gets in the way of your ship?

Donna Kiel. What a bitch XD ... Not that they really need anyone to get in the way. After all, the unshakable desire to keep their murder game going probably gets in the way more than anything XD

10.What is something they could do that would make your life complete?

Bring Marcus back in the comics and do a follow up arc! I wanna see where they'd go after this point:

Daken and Marcus were just the most horrible couple in the history of couples - but they did have those luxurious junkie aesthetics which I can’t resist
