⁺ there's a bit of a struggle at first, especially since anti had more than one knife, but mare soon found a moment to push back and tackle the other entity to the ground. it was sloppy, and mare might've knocked their head into anti's chest, sure, but mare will take anything at this point--he's been kicking their ass!

⁺ mare releases anti's wrist as they caught their breath, raising their head up from his chest to look him in the eyes. they could feel the wounds burning, and they're sure their shirt's going to stick to them soon. definitely not! it’s her preferred magic of choice actually! it’s the element she thrives in. & i’m toying with the idea of lightning scars all over her body!

she feels an immense feeling of loneliness with the inquisition, and often writes letters to her sister back with clan Lavellan. She keeps the letters she gets back in a pocket in her outfit, so she never forgets what she has to get back home to.

quite the opposite actually! she’s very passionate and outspoken. she’s is generous with love (and opposite, generous with her distaste).

she was initially a warrior, but she has stayed pretty true to her initial creation! another thing that’s different is i’ve given her a fierce devotion to her family, a source of pride where she derives her honor and loyalty.

“Unbridled passion and frenzied pride have gotten you this far, but it’s your heart that will guide you home.”

🔥 : do they have any self destructive tendencies? what habits do they have that hinder them from becoming their best self?

so many actually, lol. she’s pretty blunt and guarded arrogant. but it’s her pride that really trips her.

she loves stories. she used to tell her sister and all the other young elves in her clan stories about vast new lands, and the folklore that was passed down to her. i think she brings this to skyhold, reading stories to kids trapped in war, to provide a sense of peace and hope.

🌟 : what do they think about when they look at the night sky? is there someone they want to star gaze with?

she likes to connect the constellations! and if she ever stargazes with solas, they probably try to outdo each other, trying to impress one another with their intelligence.

i think she would wish for love to be enough. in every avenue of life. love would have made solas stay, and love would get her back to her clan.
