How beautiful is Marijoa in the evening in a scale from 1 to 10?
Since the second season of the One Piece live action is approaching, I take this opportunity to "cook" a little more.
Obviously I'm still talking about the World Government: I was wondering how they could set the scenes in Marijoa, if they were shot in the real world or in CGI since things and places are sometimes made in computer graphics.
If they choose to do it in the real world, I suggest this:
which is practically the same place that inspired Oda to create Pangea Castle.
PS: with this premise, I'm curious to find out which actors they will choose to play the Gorosei, since there is relatively little time left (season 3?)
What do you think about this?
Thinking tonight about what made Donquixote Homing decide to abdicate his position as a Celestial Dragon and leave Marijoa. Was there one inciting incident where he realized ‘hey this isn’t right.’ or was it more like a series of things that needled away at him until he finally decided leaving was the right thing to do?
Homing seems like such a kindhearted and noble man (if naive) even at the outset of our introduction to him, but was he always that way? If not, what caused him to change his mind?
What was Myosgard’s reaction? Did Homing’s decision to leave make more sense to him after Otohime caused his change of heart? We don’t know what relation they were (brothers? cousins? 🤷♀️) but they were both Donquixotes so surely that would have to mean something. Scandalous bunch, that family.

@jealousmingo (( All I want for Christmas is to see the slaves free and Marijoa burn))
is bonney at marijoa on her own accord or is she infiltrating TOGETHER with the revolutionary army?
What the fuck is that? Who the fuck is that? WHEN THE FUCK WE’LL SEE THAT AGAIN??????
Ok, after expressing my shock for the last page of the chapter I can write now my theory about that giant hat (WARNING: it’s quite crack)
The hat is the national treasure of Mary Geoise AND/OR the last ancestral weapon we still have to see, Uranus.
The fact that it’s kept underground and the atmosphere is frozen can be signals of its powers as weapon ABOVE the sea (Uranus is the sky and the god of sky in Greek, grandfather of Zeus and the other Olympian Gods = celestial dragons in One Piece), and so linked to weather (since Poseidon is a weapon UNDER the sea -a mermaid- and Pluton a weapon ON the sea -a war ship-) and therefore it’s been hidden in a place where it can’t work properly, perhaps for centuries (the underground seems very ancient and all that ice has been forming for years, and the ancestral weapons disappeared after the Great War 800 years before the beginning of the story).
But why Doflamingo doesn’t call it directly Uranus? Does Doflamingo not know the names of the ancestral weapons? I highly doubt that, almost impossible.
So, if it’s only the national treasure of Mary Geoise is it linked to the will of D? Is the hat the embodiment of the will of D? In this case, the hat worn by Roger and Luffy could just represent it (or at least, a part of the will, since there are others who don’t wear a straw hat while still having a D in their surname, be they good or bad), and Shanks gave the hat to Luffy because he knew he hadn’t the D while Luffy has it.
And since the World Government fear those who possess the D, if the will of D was something proper of the Great Reign, a sort of weapon of theirs, can the giant hat be the last remaining piece of the Great Reign defeated by the World Government?
