Source Info from yesterday's Paley Center Los Angeles Outlander Event with Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan
A source who attended the Outlander Event at Paley Center in Los Angeles today, May 13, 2026 sent me these DMs with some info. She will send pics later and I'll add them. 👇
Pics to come later, hopefully.
Recent Outlander BTS post from Maril Davis 🥹
Not sure what they're rehearsing here (idk maybe Claire is asking and begging Jamie not to go to war đź« or maybe last week's injured scene) but just happy to see my mains being front and center đź©·

I feel like a lot of people missed this at the end of the final, so I posted it.
“Everyone says period doesn’t sell anymore.” Maril Davis said, “But Outlander is evidence to the contrary.”
Which is hard to argue with when the show spent nearly a decade turning time travel, war, romance, wigs, and emotional devastation into one of TV’s most durable franchises. Matthew B. Roberts and Davis told me they never wanted the final season to suddenly feel self-important or ceremonial just because it was ending. No “very special episode” energy. No musical episode either, thankfully. Instead, they wanted Season 8 to feel like the same show fans had been following all along, while also bringing in Annie Lennox to sing the theme and still leaving the door cracked open for whatever comes next. Which, in the Outlander universe, apparently includes death not always being a dealbreaker.

nightmaril On October 31, 2024 we had our last official day of shooting on Outlander. We had a couple of previous wraps (principal photography, Re-shoots and pick ups for a lot of the actors last week) but yesterday the camera rolled for the final time as we finished getting the last bits and bobs. It’s hard to put into words what this magical journey has meant to me. Like others who have posted before me, this show has been life changing in many ways. And it’s been near and dear to my heart and will continue to be that way forever. Thank you to all the people who have been on this epic journey with us. slà inte mhath @outlander_starz
