Seahorses Mating
This is a picture I've done of two seahorses in the process of mating. Unusually for animals, it's the male that carries the developing young, effectively being "pregnant". They entwine tails, then the female passes up to 1,500 eggs into the abdominal pouch of the male, where he fertilises them and carries them for about three weeks before they hatch and leave his body fully formed. About a week later, he can go through the whole process again!
