Kali Uchis: this one a lot of you may know but i'm not sure everyone knows she's bisexual. in 2020 she dropped the TOO FEEL ALIVE EP which's uncensored cover is a drawing of a woman going down on another lol. at the time she was dating a woman and apparently living it UP because honey baby (SPOILED!) is one of her most romantic songs. it describes a honeymoon stage that only makes sense from a lesbian relationship perspective im sorryyyy no man would ever do the things for a woman she describes in that song. this is an EP but i also love all her albums. Gal Costa: Brazilian singer lesbian icon. Was at the forefront of the tropicália movement, a genre that surged in the late 60s which is highly anthropophagic, combining the vanguard and the popular, traditional rock'n'roll guitars with traditional brazilian rhythms. The song India is peak lesbian yearning and one of my favorite songs of all time. My suggestion is listening to this song then her debut album. Although tropicália is one of my fave genres ever, she explored a lot of music genres throughout her 50+ year career.

Marina Lima: upbeat, delicious synths and really horny lyrics a lot of the time. delicious voice. plays the guitar as well, as pictured. manages to be alluring as hell throughout her music but obviously through her demeanor and general vibes as well. also very explicitly sings about women! Uma Noite e 1/2 is my favorite songs of hers but the album Fullgás was a cultural reset.
Tinashe: she's one of #mygirl's faves. this music video for the song X/ I Can See the Future serves EVERYTHING including her kissing a girl. All Hands on Deck was released 10 years ago and it aged like wine. from vocals, to visuals, to outfits, to COREOGRAPHY which no pop girl seems to be doing these days she's a complete pop artist. a portion of gays has been begging for tinashe recognition for like a decade now.
