New Orleans Barbeque Shrimp from Mark Bittman. As so often happens, I decided to make focaccia around noon and started it. Then around 5 I started looking for the rest of dinner. I almost cried when this cake actually came out clean. Gluten free vegan cakes are great, but not always Bundt pan friendly. Even gluten full cakes can sometimes tear with the unmolding. But not here! Not today! This is an orange almond Bundt cake that was served with a vegan salted caramel and vegan whipping cream. It would make a great brunch cake too! I used #markbittman gluten free vegan vegan vanilla cake recipe. I used ground flax as the binder, and stirred in almond paste and orange marmalade. It was a huge hit!
