A while ago mark did a Markiplier mask cult thing (the mask is still his profile on here I believe) and it was "supposed" to spread positivity (but it's mark so it was more these weird spam messages) and kinda creepy and some people took it to far and harassed some people so I'd imagine some people just don't even want to deal with the possibility of it going that way again or be reminded of the previous cult. (Sorry if that doesn't make sense it was weird and confusing even when it happened)
