Morphine @ The Troubadour, Los Angeles 1994. A review from the LA Times of the show says, and I could not describe it better, “Morphine’s seedy and thick baritone rhythms oozed off the Troubadour’s stage Friday like a seasoned drunk pours out of a lounge--anesthetized yet coolly composed.”

My friends and I also saw them in San Francisco around this time, and we spotted Kevin Haskins and DavidJ in the audience. 17 year old shy me actually got up the nerve to speak to David, and probably said something stupid.
