Marley Spoon Beef Shepard’s Pie

Why did I save this for last? The picture on the website made it look really good but, uh. Do you see how empty the container is? I’ve complained about the TINY broccoli florets before that don’t even fill up half the section - they taste amazing but there is not enough. And then the shepherds pie - barely any mashed potatoes and what was there was lackluster, it did have good cheese which saved that part a bit. But the beef…I swear it was Taco Bell beef, just without any flavor. It was just the weakest, most grainy, shitty textured “ground beef” I’ve seen and there’s nothing that could save it. This was incredibly disappointing all the way around.
So that’s thankfully a wrap on the Marley Spoon meals. This meal was pretty indicative of the whole Marley Spoon experience for me, the meals could be tasty but it’s outshined by weird ingredients, flavors and textures. And poor customer service. Some of these meals also should’ve not been frozen, they just couldn’t be saved after that. I really expected better from a Martha Stewart brand, especially for the price paid. It would a much bigger discount and proof of better meals in order for me to buy from them again.
