#15 ice Climbers

Popo and Nana better known in conjunction as the adorable hiking team “Ice Climbers”. These little guys are kind of a mistery since appeared almost out of nowhere in the smash bros universe , there’s only one ice climber game and it came out in 1984.

It has a pretty out there concept being a game about two hiking eskimos who need to climb high structures in order to save living vegetables from an evil pterodactyl. Also nobody knows for sure the relationship between the two, Are they siblings? A couple? Or just friends? Who knows, but whatever their status is, one thing’s for sure. When they’re together, they are a force to be reckoned with.

They have a very interesting moveset, play as the two characters at the same time leads to some pretty powerful combos, but if you lose Nana, Popo becomes very weak.

I loved playing as them and was sad when they were removed fron smash 4, but thankfully they’re coming back in the next installment. I can’t wait!
