shows a man taking his wife out to eat and the description is basically “he takes his children out to buy flowers and they take his wife out to dinner to celebrate her being a good mother”

the book says dia de los muertos but there isn’t one in the examples so

here is my answer for dia de la madre

"They also take a lot of time. The plan is this. I'll finish Homestuck some time in 2013. In the meantime, there will be a high-level planning phase for the game project. The decisions reached will largely depend on the budget we have to work with: how much money is raised here. When Homestuck is done, that's when our full attention will be on actual development. The game will be scheduled for release in 2014. I'm often asked what I will work on once Homestuck is done. If the project is funded, then this is it! As for what will happen with MSPA after that, I haven't really decided yet. the most reecent update, copied from mspa  "We're coming up on almost a year since I paused. So that means I got like, SO much done on the story, right? Wow, no. aka he hasnt gotten much done at all, has refused to communicate that untill now, and we are no where near done with homestuck, and no where near seeing where those 2 million dollars went
