A few months ago, I experienced the combo-breaker of getting severely injured that has resulted in nerve damage and required both extensive pain medication and physical therapy, degenerating mental health, and getting fired by transphobic and ableist management. As a result, I've got a lot of medical debts and rental obligations that my girlfriend and I have been struggling to keep up with. I have until April 10th to get 900 dollars for outstanding payments at the bare minimum.

I've got some interviews lined up, but even if I pass the last round it's going to be a while yet before those paychecks start hitting. As a result, I am approaching the council with my beanie in hand and asking for enough so my girlfriend and I can breathe a little easier and afford to live.
