View, the Diana fountain and nice sky, Red Deer and Jay on our annual visit to Bushy Park today 18/09/2025. It was captivating to hear the regal roars of the Red Deers and see one wallowing in muddy water, hear the eccentric high-pitched calls of the Ring-necked Parakeets and see these emerald beauties including in chestnut trees and consuming their crop and acorn gathering Jays taking in some beautiful views around the water especially as the sun came through. This is always a key day of transition in our year as summer shakes autumn's hand. Little Egret, House Martin, Chiffchaff, lots of lovely Migrant Hawkers, marsh skullcap and prominent parasol mushrooms were other highlights.
