I made this tonight and it was a hit!! I doubled it up to freeze some, added corn and green chili, and used some Serrano hot sauce we got at some hot sauce store in San Francisco. Also used a milk stout instead of a brown ale. It was so good, thanks for posting this!
Okay, this is 100% not the kind of response I ever thought that post would get and it was a really wonderful on to come home to after being out drinking beer and playing video games all night (Pete and I started The Swords of Ditto, loved it, and managed to win our first real time through, although just barely). I’m so glad it was good, and all of these seems like excellent changes/additions! I’m giving myself a week of lighter lunches and then making chili again, and I might have to try some of them.
