This particular setting is if James wasent a bully :) Still talkative, puts his foot in his mouth, show off, but not deliberalty horrible like canon.

A lot of people I suppose assumed Snape just dident like anyone before we got book 5? Then we learn he had reason to hate James. Before that there was a few doujins that were non canon, becuase yeah, we didnet know what was canon at the time.

Happens all the time with any fandom as its being created.

Even if they werent bullies, I dont think Severus would like the Maurauders too much. Not hate, just, clash of personalities. There too loud and obnoxious for him personally.

That can change too mind, life is constantly changing.

Probably get on with Remus if anybody, could seem them being friends in a nicer setting. Both are quiet, intellegent.

Could see this either way, James just trying to be friendly, maybe intersted in the snake cuz well, hes very DIFFERENT. So serious and keeps to himself. This could also be seen as a crush, one sided Snames/Jeverus.

At this age I spect there 11 or 12, somewhat familir with each other. Snape tends to try and keep out of there way, but I can see James going out of his way to look for him(doesent seem the type to take a hint ^^’)
