This is how I picture Gravedigger Mikey's mystic, kinda sparky and scratchy.

When he unlocked/upgraded/delved deeper into his mystic powers he didn't have the support of his family's ninpo to regulate his mystics. So it was very wild and untamed. He also had no one to teach him. Seven yrs of self teaching, with no support. Plus a world conquering alien to deal with for a portion of those. While it's not that uniform and neat/contained in the show, it's even less so here.

As shown in the fic, it will activate when he gets mad. Typically setting something on fire. The fire is concentrated and incredibly hot. He also has some time reverse abilities but it mostly only works on things his mystic has effected. If there is any overuse his left arm will twinge in warning; this helps since he finds it hard to judge without that warning sign.
