The composition elements n mech designs of this illustration are based on IDW TF comic Spotlight: Blaster. Beachcomber, under Soundwave's control, attempts to kill Blaster, who counters with his most powerful weapon—his voice.The dynamic between the two in this extreme situation is particularly compelling.

At the end of the story, Blaster delivers a fierce threat, vowing revenge against Soundwave.However, like many other stories in this series, this setup remains unresolved and never materializes in subsequent publications.

I think Jazz is usually the one who can best tolerate blaster‘s random ideas and actions, if he suddenly takes things seriously, it means that Blaster might really messed up this time… Well,when I was drawing this,I simply wanted Jazz to give Blaster a dental check jumpscare,and they end up look like arguing over something. I wouldn’t mind a little angst between them.Hee hee.
