Thor #2 Review

It’s that time again!  I recently read the second issue of the newest Thor comic series and it looks like the snark has continued.  As always, support your local comic shops and let Marvel feel the love!

In Thor #1, Loki literally gets dragged to Hel by Thor, and into a war to save the realms from Malekith.  Thor and Loki (and their weird menagerie of demonic farm animals) meet up with Balder and Skurge, who have seen too many Mad Max films.  Cue Thor’s endless supply of hammers, an undead family reunion and more manly hugs than you can shake Mjolnir at.  Loki will be lucky if he survives this.

Conclusion: This series is still just as comedic and entertaining in the second issue.  It’s a fun read even if you don’t know who these people are.  I’m still not a fan of the weird painted style of art, but the writing is hilarious!  It helps that the majority of the comedic parts involve Loki.
