New photo alert! Gamora - Guardians of the Galaxy, head to toe. Thank you @icemanx62 for shooting with me! He guarded that corner fiercely until I got there! Photoshoots at NYCC are usually limited to walls and tunnels, and thankfully, the clean background works with this suit. I made this costume in 4 weeks, using techniques new to me, and learning a buttload about EVA foam shaping and patterning, flexible plastic coating Epsilon Pro, airbrushing, and generally how messy sanding is. I’m almost done with the Making of Video for Gamora, look for it this week! I will credit and link all the material sources and share each step with you! I had a tough time with this costume, but it felt good to push outside of my comfort zone and surprise a lot of people with an unconventional armored Alien look!
