I like how “lovers” of mythology in this site accuse Hades of literally raping Persephone (while the Greek word is “abduct”) AND they take the action literally and label him a bad god. 

At the same time, they don’t say anything about Slavic goddess Marzana/Morana who kills Yarilo every year because he stops loving her. (Their love begins at the beginning of Spring and their love brought wheat and fruits, while Yarilo’s death caused Autumn and eventually Winter to happen).

It’s like they recognize that there is heavy symbolism in the second story but refuse to see it in the Greek mythology, because they only see it through Western and modernized lens. HMMMMMMMM
