LUCRETIA + MYTHOLOGY

Atropos (Ancient Greek: Ἄτροπος), was the eldest of the Three Fates (Morai) of Greek Mythology, and was known as "the Inflexible One."  It was she who chose the manner of death, and ended the life of mortals by cutting their threads. Her Roman equivalent was Morta of The Parcae. She is the goddess of death, believed to preside over infants who died.
