I’m still not sure exactly what Dongju being (basically?) MAS 0094′s manager entailed. Like, if they were just some friends making music together, I’d assume it was a joke, and Dongju just made sure they took care of themselves and stuff, but since they actually, like, played at events and stuff, presumably making money off at least some of their gigs, I’m left to assume that Dongju handled the business side of things for them. As a teen.

you were at the university library. not really searching for resources for your assignment. you were supposed to, but you were more interested in finding books to read for your own entertainment.

you weren't in a good mood these days because of the pile of work you had to finish up. what's greater than procrastinating with interesting books right?

you walked aisle by aisle and finally reached your favourite book genre! fantasy/horror . your eyes sparkled at the new books that had just arrived.

you were about to reach for a book that attracted your attention when you were distracted by a guy beside you. he was mumbling to himself as he too reached for a book on the top shelf.

the guy picked out a book but accidentally pulled some other books together with his choice. he was soon on the floor as he was hit with the books.

"ouch...". he mumbled as he rubbed his head.

the guy quickly looked up when he heard a voice beside him.

you were trying your best to not chuckle at the funny scene. his cute reaction made it funnier. he really cheered you up after a whole week of stress.

you realised him looking at you with a pout. you smiled as you asked him.

"are you oka--". your question was cut when another guy walked quickly towards the guy on the floor.

"i told you to be careful! aish clumsy as always.". the other guy nagged as he helped the guy earlier pick up the other books.

"well i told you to stop treating me like a younger brother. did you ever listen?". the first guy said.

the second guy sighed and knocked the first guy with a book. " you are my younger brother, Dongju.. ".

the first guy whose name was Dongju rolled his eyes and hugged his book of choice tightly. "yeah, by a minute!".

Dongju's brother rolled his eyes and grabbed Dongju by his hoodie to drag him to their table.

but before leaving, Dongju's brother faced you with a disappointed face and shook his head. "and miss, it is kind of mean to laugh at other's misfortune.".

you blinked at his words. you were about to apologise but they had already walked past you. your face warmed up and you covered it with your palms. too embarrassed at your own actions.

you were too guilty to just move on with life without apologising although you were sure they would forget about the incident.

you had an idea and quickly went to the library cafe.

"he--hey.. i am really sorry for not helping earlier. i hope you guys like some iced lattes? an--and uhm, i'm y/n . ". you said softly as you placed two cups of iced lattes on the brothers' table.

the two boys looked up with surprised faces. Dongju's face quickly turned into a cold one when he saw your face. his brother however flashed you a smile.

"ahh that is embarrassing! you really didn't have to buy us drinks... i am sorry if i sounded rude earlier. i just don't like it when people make fun of my baby brother. i'm Dongmyeong by the way. and my brother is Dongju.".

*cute and talkative huh...* you thought as you too gave a smile.

Dongju nudged Dongmyeong as he frowned. "i told you to stop calling me your baby brother!".

Dongmyeong scrunched up his nose and ruffled Dongju's hair.

you chuckled at the interaction and looked at their faces closely this time.

pretty eyes.

cute nose.

dimples.

pouty lips.

your eyes widened as everything started to make sense on why they argued about the same thing.

"ar--are you guys, twins?". you asked softly.

Dongmyeong faced you and nodded cutely with a smile.

"yeap!! i'm the older twin!". he clarified. again .

Dongju only sighed and took his book to cover his face. totally done with his twin.

you chuckled at his actions. "oh?". you quickly sat on the seat opposite of Dongju and pointed to his book.

"you read The Black Goat's Egg too?". you asked excitedly.

Dongju put his book down slowly and nodded. his cold aura earlier completely gone.

"i really like her writing and i finally got the chance to read this one. do you read her other books too?". Dongju asked cutely.

Dongju's eyes sparkled as he finally had someone to talk to about novels. Dongmyeong wasn't really the type to read novels. he preferred comics.

"i've only read this book from this author. i really like horror or fantasy themed novels and The Black Goat's Egg was one of my favourites.". you explained.

Dongju nodded as he flashed a wide smile.

*omg that was so cute* you thought and refrained from squealing.

"i heard new books just arrived so i'm going to check them out later.". you explained.

Dongju cleared his throat and scratched his neck before looking at you shyly.

"if you don't mind, would you recommend me some books?". Dongju asked.

you smiled widely and nodded. "of course!! i'm always here every Tuesday and Friday after 3pm. i like to finish my assignments here or read some books. if you're free, feel welcomed to join me !!". you invited him.

Dongju smiled and nodded cutely. "i will! hmm we could be library buddies?". he adorably asked with his pouty lips.

you chuckled and unnoticingly patted his head. "yes.. ahh you are so cute no wonder Dongmyeong babies you.". you finally confessed.

Dongmyeong chuckled at your words and pinched Dongju's chubby cheekies. "see? even y/n can't resist a baby like you,". Dongmyeong teased his twin brother.

Dongju only frowned deeper and slapped Dongmyeong's hand away.

you exchanged numbers with the Son brothers and promised to hang out together again soon.

who knows, laughing at someome clumsy would result in a new friendship.
