An illustration from the Swedish children´s books Loranga, Masarin och Dartanjang written by Barbro Lindgren. This is the hypochondriatic grandfather Dartanjang, in his bed, “terribly sick, as usual”. I thought that the books were hilarious when I was a child. They still are. But as I´ve grown, it does touches upon very dark subjects.
