14-Would you want to be reincarnated? & 26-What’s the most life-changing choice you’ve made so far?
14: I honestly love life and living, so yes. I would enjoy being able to do it all again. It is interesting to experience different perspectives, and what better way to have a different perspective than to be a different person. Having said that, I quite enjoy my life and want to make it to my natural end during this lifetime, but once the time has come, I would gladly experience living again. It is not always easy, and at times it seems to hard to go on, but it is worth it. Having said that, I would hope that our current future is not one I would have to experience (to be honest, the world is pretty messed up right now and we are losing all of our freedoms and being forced into some pretty ridiculous situations, but I have faith that we will make it out okay... even if it takes something that completely changes our society as we know it), but I would likely only know reality as I experience it, so perhaps it would not feel as overwhelming and constrictive to the reincarnated me, as I would not know anything else.
26: To love myself. I love myself as I would a partner, or a child, or a pet, or a friend. With my whole heart and being. And to give of myself completely to those who are deserving. In learning to love myself, I have also learned to make boundaries and to uphold them, even if it means I will be lonely. I have also learned how to be myself unapologetically, to do and wear what I want, to express myself as I choose to, regardless of the judgements of others. Life is too short to hate yourself and be miserable.
Hello, I saw your post about the Duolingo course for Arabic and I was wondering if you've ever tried the Drops application Arabic course and if so, what do you think of it? I've been trying to teach myself Arabic using it and several books & CDs as well and I think Drops is fun to use, but I'm unsure of how accurate it is. Thanks for your time :)
Hello, there!
I haven’t taken the course, but if you’re interested, I can try the course and post a short review about my opinion on how accurate / useful the course is ^^
Do you have a hard time putting down books you do not enjoy? Do you force yourself to finish books that are uninteresting sometimes?
I do, yes..... Admittedly not the best! However, it’s harder -- at least speaking for myself -- to justify putting down a book that’s very widely read and important to know about. I can sometimes (rarely) put down a book I don’t care about/I’ve never heard of if I’m almost positive it’s not likely going to come up in my courses or research or whatever. Much harder to make a case that I don’t need to read García Márquez just because I realized I didn’t like it in the middle of the book; you get the point.
tl;dr the line between pleasure and work are nonexistent for me and I am suffering

Listening to Chrome by VNV Nation right now.
15. personality description
This is really hard? Verbose, kind, loud, fragile, caring. Probably better to ask my friends!
31. 3 random facts
About me? I have very poor hearing, I spent a ton of time learning stage magic as a kid, and my favorite TV show of all time is a cheesy vampire cop show called Forever Knight.
Thanks for the curiosity, so appreciated!
Getting ready to go out
Me: Are you eating the makeup?
My GF: A little bit, it comes with being a woman...
