#update I was diagnosed w/ #COVID19 a few days ago after thinking my bad kidney infection spread 2 my lungs. Instead found out I have #covid I want 2 say that #covidsucks it’s a struggle 2 breathe. At the point that sitting up or standing up causes walls to spin, & I can’t breathe @ all. It helps 2 lay propped up on my side, but moving from 1 to the other side causes a coughing fit, which is so bad i cough up flecks of blood. my dad died of stage 4 lung cancer during during 🎄 2017. I spent a month in the hospital w/ him watching him die, & gasping for breath as he went hypoxic... now I’m pretty sure I’m close to knowing how he felt as he died. I busted my rear-end in efforts 2 keep from getting #COVID19. Wearing a mask in public places, staying @ least 6 feet from people, keeping hands clean, etc. yet I still got it. I don’t even know how it happened. #MaskUpAZ #MaskUp follow all guidelines, then make an effort to go above & beyond them! I'm loving the "Maskots" that AZ is doing as part of their #maskupaz campaign😷 I've been using mascots as an example to anyone who has been complaining about how hot and how they can't breath wearing a mask. "It ain't over 'til it's over" is what our old high school football coach used to tell the Amherst Comets football players, cheerleaders and marching band. His point was that when the score was high against us, the night was long and cold, the band members were freezing in the stands and dreaming of hot chocolate, and the team was feeling downtrodden, that was the time to pull together and not the time to give up. That is where we are with the COVID19 pandemic. We're all in this together. There is no "I" in "Team." (Did Coach Armour say that or did the Army?) Anyway, wear a mask when you are out in public. Be safe. If you are over 60 and don't have to go out, stay home! Infection rates are highest in younger people now, but death rates are still highest among people over 60. Hospitals are starting to see people who had COVID19 come back with post-COVID19 complications. This is not a joke. This is not a hoax.
