Stubborn. If you argue with him it might literally turn into a competition.
An absolute foul mouthed menace...but toward you? He denies it. No no bedroom memories and +18 moments are not accepted as evidence for this question. Absolutely not. He is 100% defensive about the claim that he has never sworn at you.
He swears like a sailor. And alright let’s be honest sometimes he swears at you too. But only when the situation calls for it. "Idiot, get behind me." It's not scolding. It's a protective reflex. (That's what he says. Are you calling him a liar?) He grabs you by the shoulder and pulls you back. Not gently. But the moment he does, it’s pure instinct to put you behind him.
When you’re in a bad mood, he has a real talent for making the worst possible comments. (Most Marks are pretty good at this to be fair.) "Oh you want to fight? I can take you. Just not in a fight."🥀
Your personal punching bag. Did you suddenly get a burst of cuteness aggression and start attacking his biceps? That's fine. He trusts you. (You're weak anyway.)
He doesn't share. Not even the smallest moment. Even during the most meaningless conversation with him or in a quiet moment he won't tolerate anyone coming over to talk to you. Can't they see it? Right now all of your attention is on each other. They shouldn't interrupt.
Sick. Give his ass a light smack and he’ll hit you back harder, then bend over twice as much asking for another one.
He doesn't stay quiet when he's jealous. He asks directly. "Who was that?" If you say "a friend" he might answer, "Not anymore." He says it like a joke but only half joking. His jealousy is much more obvious in everyday situations. "Why are they so friendly with you?" he’ll ask bluntly.
He isn't gentle when he kisses you. Grabbing your jaw, pressing you against a wall, closing in on your breathing space. You’d better be prepared for people to look at your face and ask if you’re being abused this guy has absolutely no filter when it comes to strength.
Your challenges amuse him more than they seem to. They make him feel alive. His love for you grows a little more every single day.
When he turns his back on you, he never fully turns away. It's always at a half angle just enough so he can still see you.
Of course he'll carry you to the places you want to go otherwise, what kind of boyfriend would he be?
When flying, the way he holds you is sometimes a little loose. He wants to feel you cling to him tighter. He does this especially on the days when he doesn't want to say he needs attention but clearly does. He needs to feel your arms wrapped tightly around his neck and your body pressed against his. There's a huge grin on his face during these moments,thankfully his face is covered.
If you get hurt, he loses control. Mark is already savage in battle (which one isn't?). But when it comes to you, it becomes more personal.
The first time he honestly confesses something to you, it won't be romantic line. It will be,"I want you by my side." That is his version of 'love'. "You want me beside you? In battle?" His entire body freezes. "What no in bed." In the very next moment a fist lands on his face.
When you're asleep, he holds you tightly with his arm no matter which position you're in. In the morning if you say "Let go" he won't. He'll say "No" and curse. That's it. You stay in that bed until he gets up. And no, breakfast can wait he needs you more. And no, you’re an adult you can hold your pee. This is your chance to prove your strength. No need to thank him.
If you tell him, "Be a little softer," he'll raise an eyebrow and mock, "This is all you can take." But the next touch will be slightly more controlled. (And then he goes back to the same shit a minute later.)
In the mornings, he doesn't turn off the alarm he punches it. Then you punch him back, and then he too you from behind ahem. The phone doesn't break because he instinctively catches it but he still mutters, "Damn thing." (These reflexes started after the one time he accidentally punched your phone and you left the house for a day.)
He doesn't know how to make breakfast. Protein bars + coffee, or whatever ready made thing he can find. If you cook something proper, he'll say, "You didn't have to do this," but he’ll eat everything anyway. He tries very hard not to leave even a single crumb on the plate. If you notice and tease him about it, he'll get embarrassed and tell you to "fuck off." No, no he wasn’t serious. Don’t leave the table.
He walks as if he's bumping his shoulder into yours even in everyday life. He has no sense of physical space. A walking dominant. If you do the same to him, he'll do it harder. Once,you ended up licking the pavement just because of this.
He can't stay silent in the cinema. Is the movie bad? He comments. "That guy would have died in three seconds," he whispers, except he doesn't actually whisper.
Once you went to watch an action movie, something like Karate Kid. You bought a single ticket but watched two movies. One was on the screen, the other was your boyfriend beating up the guy next to him who told him to shut up.
His texting style is: "Where are you.", "Reply.", "Okay." He finds emojis childish and mocks the ones you send when meet face to face.
If you argue at home, voices may rise. But the neighbours can't complain. Because…well. "No I refuse to back down. You're a lady! Ladies first!" (Examp for women)
He fights more aggressively when you're around. Because he knows you're watching.
If you wipe the blood off his hands he stays motionless for a few seconds. That is his calmest state. What comes after is...well... "Today ride me."
When he enters the room and sees you sitting on the floor folding clothes, he comes over and sits behind you leaning his back against yours. No explanation. That's his relaxed state. He enjoys these quiet moments too if you are there.
Even an ordinary day with him feels a little tense, a little electrically charged. Because Mark’s energy is not calm.
If you don't have superpowers he'll constantly try to train your endurance. "At least learn how to run away," he says. If you do have superpowers and are strong…he respects you in a way that even surprises himself, though he will never say or show it directly. "Okay. Stay by my side." to him that is already a personal approval.
If you tell him "Apologize" he’ll roll his eyes. Ten minutes later he'll say, "Okay." That is his apology. Damn it he's a great partner and he knows it.
He will never be deliberately cruel to you. But when he gets angry, his voice rises. It takes him time to learn how to pull himself back. He'll grumble endlessly about your weaknesses and your very human nature. Don't be fooled by his rough attitude he's really not like that. He just loves you, and some truths just irritate him.
If you want a normal ordinary life, he will struggle. But he will try. For at most a few days. Then he gets bored. What does you mean by a life where the only blood he can see is from the chicken he cuts on the kitchen counter?
He refuses to be the one who changes in the relationship.
He also has this habit of trying to be the best at everything. Though it's questionable whether his definition of 'good' is the same as normal people's.
There will always be too much blood, too much swearing and too much sex in your life. These are the things that will constantly stay at the forefront. And as a partner it's even worse if you can’t release all of his energy.
No matter the position this guy enjoys pressing you down underneath him during intimacy. He won't even care if you feel overwhelmed.
Good luck going shopping with an impatient man like Shiesty Mark. Keep his mind occupied while waiting in the checkout line or he might go and either kill someone or steal the items.
He will absolutely not hide the people he has killed or the terrible things he has done from you. First, because he doesn't care what he did isn't that important and it doesn't affect you (for him), so why would you keep crying about it? He doesn't understand the concept of guilt at all. In every argument about this, he will hold your face with his bloodstained hands and pull you into a suffocating kiss.
If you are also chaotic…it's a perfect match. You create trouble together. What follows is adrenaline and long moments of intimacy.
The only time this guy is completely vulnerable is when he is beside you in bed.
Even if he is about to die he will keep fighting to the end. Because if he dies, who will protect you? What will happen to you? Thinking about these things only makes him strike harder.
He cannot handle you leaving him. He may not show it openly but he will refuse to accept your breakup and will force his way back into your life. No you belong to each other, and you are supposed to stay like this for a lifetime.
He knows the difference between himself and you. If you are human, he cherishes every moment he spends with you even more and tries harder for more. Because one day he will still be here, while only your memories and belongings will remain…and that is the thought that disturbs his heart the most. Whenever it crosses his mind, he wants to punch something.
In his agreement with Angstrom, his request could be something that will extend your lifespan. For this he would not hesitate to destroy another version of himself or even entire planets. As long as you stay by his side forever, you are not his weakness you are his strength.
"Don't worry, I'll come back." After placing a kiss on your forehead, the cloth he had pushed aside falls back over his face. He quickly flies out of the window and disappears over the horizon. You know he will return, even if you don't know what he went to do. But this was the last time you saw him. He fought so he wouldn't have to live a long life without you but in the end, you were the one who lived longer. (I’ll write a small piece about this later and leave the link here…)
After a year I’m writing again for the first time. I wish I had opened this account in 2025…anyway. Eng isn't my native language and I might have written Shiesty Mark poorly...I don't know but something still feels a little off to me, so I apologize in advance.
