Author’s Note: And so we begin! I’m trying a slightly different format this time but I’m not 100% set on it so tell me if you prefer this way or the way it looked before~ And as always my ask is always open
Masquerade: In a world where everyone has a soulmate but it’s rare to actually find them, it’s considered a particularly amazing thing when you are one of the few true pairs. But what if you hate the person you’re supposedly meant for?
Jimin and Jungkook have known each other since childhood, but after Jungkook beat Jimin out for the last spot in the dance program of an incredibly prestigious art school despite Jimin being older and (he maintains) the stronger dancer of the two, they have had nothing but intense rivalry and dislike for one another.
Years later, when the two meet at a masquerade in Seoul, sparks of another kind ignite between them and they know that they’re meant to be. Problem is, they have no idea who each other are.
Will the two of them manage to follow the signs and overcome their differences to become what they’re meant to become? Or will their past rivalries stand in the way of their budding love?
