Maybe Dennis is a farmboy, and that Santos insists on being his fairy godmother, bc she's his rich-ish friend that got an invitation to a masquerade. He ends up running into Robby, and they have a wonderful time, but at somepoint he gets overwhelmed by Robby's affection, and it ends up being a sort of Cinderalla-esque situation.
Or maybe it's a mardi gras masquerade fundraiser that the hospital is putting on, and again, Santos insists on being his fairy godmother of sorts, bc this is his first work function/party. When he meets Robby in his get up, he knows immediatly that it's Robby, but it seems as though that Robby doesn't immediatly know that it's him. He gains some confidence in his costume, and kind of flirts with Robby, leading him to realize who he is.

The grand hall is completely empty.
Empty tables, empty champagne flutes and several masks left in various spots.
No guests, no staff, just pure ominous silence.
Celine’s senses scream danger as she silently moves through the hall. The thick carpet does well to muffle her footsteps as the honmoon continues to shimmer around her.
She expects Huntr/x to stop by any minute, but is not surprised when they don’t.
She waits, sneaking against the wall, approaching the grand staircase. Her bear mask is forgotten now, discarded and thrown onto the ground.
Pulling out her phone, she dials Rumi’s number. It rings once, twice, before she answers.
“Celine?”
“Rumi. You, Mira and Zoey.” She says firmly. “Heart of Seoul, 10 minutes max. I’ll send you the coordinates.”
She hangs up without further explanation. Her determination is now fueled by adrenaline, instinct by her long years of hunting demons, but she would be lying if she excluded slight fear as well.
Especially when she hears the malicious rumbling coming from the spiral staircase, dark smoke descending from the top.
A large demon materializes. It towers over her, horned, eyes that glow with nothing but malevolent energy as it fixates on her immediately.
Without hesitation, Celine pulls out her dagger, one that she keeps on her at all times since she can no longer utilize the Honmoon to summon her dual swords. She hurls it with deadly precision, aiming it right at the demon’s throat, but it catches it with ease.
Celine curses when she sees her dagger embedded in its palm. The demon laughs maliciously, watching curiously as she fumbles to find her second blade.
With a simple flick of its hand, the dagger flies out from the demon’s palm, skidding across the hall, ricocheting off the floor and right into Celine’s leg.
The pain is so sudden, so sharp, that it catches her off guard. Her leg gives out and she kneels, her breathing unsteady. She’s losing control of the situation and fast.
“Kang.” The demon spits out her last name in disgust. “I remember you.” It’s claw points right at her. “You were responsible for his death.”
“Tch,” Celine scoffs, “I’ve killed many of your kind. You’re gonna have to remind me which one you’re referring to, if I can bother to remember.”
“The traitor.” The demon growls. “The one who fell for the human and bred a half demon.”
Celine’s eyes narrow, her jaw tightening. Even more so when then demon begins its descent from the stairs… Slowly, deliberately.
“I’m here to return a long overdue favor.” It smiles wickedly at her. “Besides, the other guests? They were merely… Appetizers.” It’s voice drips with mockery.
That’s when Celine’s blood runs cold. Of course, of fucking course. This whole gala was nothing but a damn distraction. A feast.
The demon senses her anxiety. Her realization, and licks its lips in a grotesque way, continuing its way down the staircase.
“Gwi-Ma may not be pleased with this side quest, but I will make due to enjoy the main course.” It snarls, and prepares to attack, claws fully extended and aimed right at her.
But, just as the demon takes a menacing step, its momentum is interrupted when a flash of black blocks it’s view of the older hunter.
The air tenses for a fraction of a second before the demon pauses, snarling at the sudden interruption.
Celine herself, can’t help but to widen her eyes in surprise as a large pure black wolf stands protectively in front of her. Its ears are flattened, teeth bared and icy gaze fixed solely on the demon.
Those eyes… Celine swears she’s seen them before.
A fierce growl rumbles through the wolf’s chest and the demon roars to counter it, swiping at the animal with a talon that could shatter through stone.
The canine moves with supernatural speed, effortlessly dodging and returning a counterattack that makes the demon hiss in pain. The wolf’s teeth leave ashen like burns in the same place where they graze its reddened skin.
Celine’s heart hammers against her ribs. This battle is fierce, but definitely one-sided.
The beast’s movements are fluid and precise, almost way too fast for Celine herself to keep track of. It dodges every single attack with ease, counters with bites and scratches that leave searing wounds on the demon’s skin.
With a final, powerful lunge, the wolf sinks its canines deep into the demon’s throat. The hellish creature lets out a choked, agonized scream before it vanishes in a puff of black purple-ish smoke, disappearing entirely.
The hall is silent once again. The only thing to be heard is the heavy breathing of the victorious wolf and Celine’s stunned silence.
Celine stands frozen, her mind reeling. However, as quickly as the wolf appeared, it disappears into the shadows, leaving her alone in the suddenly quiet hall.
She tries to rush forward to catch a glimpse of its black fur again, her heart racing for a completely different reason now, but the sharp pain in her leg from the knife embedded in her makes her come to a painful halt.
“Fuck!” The former idol grits her teeth as she shifts her weight, her hand immediately flying to where the sharp metal impales her skin. She notes how her dress is slightly wet, most likely due to being exposed to her blood.
“Celine!” The sound of hurried and frantic steps start to fill the empty halls, and said woman is able to take a quick breath of relief as Rumi, Mira and Zoey rush into her sight.
“We came as soon as we could!” The youngest of the group mentions.
“What are we dealing with?” The problem child questions, her gok-do already spinning excitedly in her hand. “How many demons? What type?”
Finally, Rumi approaches her adoptive mother with a concerned expression plastered on her face, “You’re hurt.” She notes, her patterns shimmering in the light. “Who did this?”
“More like, what?” Mira scoffs.
“Girls,” Celine exhales, suddenly exhausted from tonight’s events. “I’ll be fine. Just an unexpected encounter.” But when Rumi gives her a pointed look, Celine shakes her head, and corrects herself. “I’ll explain on the way back to the penthouse.”
As Zoey’s curiosity gets the better of her, Rumi and Mira help Celine up while the maknae explores the empty building.
“Easy Mira,” Rumi prompts the other, “let her lean on you.
“Easy for you to say when you have half demon strength guiding you.”
“Hey girls?” Zoey’s higher pitched voice calls out from the hallway where Celine had left her earlier companion.
The rapper emerges with a neatly folded piece of elegant paper. “It says it’s for you, Celine… Found it by the hallway over there.”
The girls’ mentor goes silent. She’s breathless as she looks- no… Scans, for that familiar figure from earlier. But, that corridor is completely empty.
The spot that Zoey points to, the one where you had been pressed against the wall right before this all went down, was where Zoey claimed to have found the piece of paper that was in fact addressed to Celine.
Her hand trembles slightly as she gently takes the folded up paper from the rapper’s grip with a soft, “Thank you.”
The note itself is written in elegant, precise handwriting on expensive parchment that smells faintly of forest, something wild, and something distinctively you.
“Had to run.” It reads, and Celine can feel Huntr/x’s curious glances over her shoulder as she reads silently in her head. “If you’re ever interested in picking up where we left off? Give me a call. -W.”
“W?” Rumi reads aloud. “Who is that? Mean anything specific?”
Mira on the other hand, has a teasing tone in her follow up question. “Celine, did you meet someone?”
That’s when said woman’s eyes widen in realization as she fixates on the single initial.
W.
Everything starts to click into place. At least somewhat. The wolf. Those golden eyes.
The way it positioned itself protectively over Celine between her and the demon? That was not just by chance. That familiar energy that radiated beneath its beastly form…
“Girls,” Celine repeats, voice softer, but more alert, “let’s go. Looks like I have some things to follow up on.”
The unspoken truth is there in her voice… She has research to do. Personal research, to see who exactly “Wolf” is.
