I was doing research for a plot idea for AU and realized how horrible Master Fu was.
Master Fu gave two powerful miraculouses that could kill their holders if overused to two children who were only 13 and not even mentally mature enough to be heroes. He throws them into battle with no fighting experience or care about the consequences of trauma this might have on their brains. They're fighting a GROWN man who has made it clear he wants their Miraculous and is willing to be a terrorist and KILL them if it means he wins. While Master Fu sat in his room and did NOTHING to help.
He just tossed his responsibility onto two kids and didn't bother to help behind the scenes. He had a box of Miraculouses did NOTHING with them. While the kids fought for their lives in Akuma attacks and technically experienced DEATH over and over again.
He was fine with sacrificing children and didn't bother to help when they were in dangerous situations!
These kids had to adapt to being heroes and couldn't tell anyone or have support. Then, when Master Fu did reveal himself, he didn't make it easier; he made it worse. He made Marinette keep secrets from Chat Noir, dumped all his responsibility onto Marinette, and was no help at all with the Hawkmoth or Mayura situation.
(He helped ONE time with Partycrasher and that was it)
Then he dumped his Guardianship onto Marinette, even though she already told him she was struggling with her duties as Ladybug(He had every chance to find someone else and lighten Marinette's load but nope). Got to disappear, leaving Ladybug and Chat Noir to clean up the mess HE made. HE lost the Miraculouses, and yet he didn't lift a finger to help with getting them back.
Also, he was a coward and ran away when his past came back to haunt him, stole the Miraculouses not even caring if he left Hawkmoth to terrorize the city without Ladybug and Chat Noir to save them. Also he was fine with leaving NOOROO with Hawkmoth!
Yeah....I think I have enough reasons for Future!Mari to hate him
Can someone write a fanfic with these two dorks with the following:
* Adrien finds out the identities first
* Marinette/Ladybug Bashing/Salt
* Adrien with a backbone
* Guardian Adrien
* Found Family
* Supportive Plagg
* Adrien handling his Father Company better/ or selling it
Not all people are not what they appear to be on the surface. Marinette, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to know that this includes herself.

Calliope never knew her mother personally, but already disliked her with a burning passion. When she was younger, she only knew her name and what she does for a living. Back then, she was more than happy to know that her industry in fashion was in her blood. It was painful for her father and aunt when she told them that she wanted to be just like her mother, but she was too young to notice how their faces would slightly change.
She was around twelve when she got the full story. How her mother played her father and Delphine and how Audrey never even touched or looked at her the day she was born. That was the day that she vowed to never become her mother. But she still wanted to be involved in fashion, of course. Even if she didn’t have her mother as a role model, she had her father and aunt, who was more of a mother than Audrey ever will be.
Her plane landed half an hour ago and Calliope was on her way to her family’s house. She looked out of her car window to see Parisians walking around, doing their daily routines and going about their normal lives. Everything felt so calm and peaceful.
Well, that peacefulness lasted only about three minutes and ended as soon as Calliope saw multiple fire trucks going the same route. As her father slowly follows the flow of traffic,
A building burned to the ground, reduced to nothing but burnt rabble, dust, and corpses. Paramedics coming out and covering the overly cooked bodies so no one would have to see them. The smell must be horrific for both survivors and paramedics.
“All those poor people,” Eugene said, looking at the horrific scene. Delphine looked over her sunglasses to look at what Eugene was looking at. “Holy shit. And here I thought Paris was pretty peaceful. Wonder what happened here.”
There was something about Paris that just rubbed Calliope the wrong way. Any reasonable person would try to get further away from the unnerving feeling. Those who were considered unreasonable wouldn’t think twice and walk towards it.
It was almost a shame that Calliope was the latter.

Words cannot describe how much Marinette Dupain-Cheng loathes Lila Rossi. She easily lies through her teeth and everyone eats it up no problem. It was crazy how no one outside of her caught the nonsense that Lila spits out. To make matters worse, the Italian began painting Marinette as a bully to their homeroom classmates, teacher, hell even the principal believes her.
No one even questions her accusations and they are all on her side. It boggles the mind.
“Don’t worry Marinette, I’m sure your classmates will see through Lila’s lies,” Tikki tried to reassure Marinette, “Just give it some time.”
“Take the high road,” she remembered what Adrien told her after Chameleon. “Nothing will be solved if you stoop to her level.”
Time, huh?
She should just stay on the high road, huh?
Neither would help her in the slightest, even the fact that every day, her classmates are wrapped around the Italian girl’s finger and they stay there longer and longer.
When was time for lunch, Marinette watched as others in their respective friend groups, with most of them looking at one of their group’s phones. Alya is, of course, no different from the rest. The next thing Marinette knows, Alya’s phone is blocking the way of her lunch. “You won’t believe it, girl. Check this out,” Alya told her, showing Nadja in front of police cars while paramedics and police were at the scene behind her.
“Last night, there was a fire started at this apartment building, with nothing but rubble in its place,” Nadja told the camera. “I can’t get any closer, but the police were nice enough to talk to us about the whole ordeal.”
“But by the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the place was already engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, ten people died in the building and are currently being taken to the morgue as of now. According to survivors and neighbors, the fire happened out of nowhere. The only thing that was savaged in the rubble was a single arrow. Police are still skeptical about the discovery and are currently trying to figure everything out. Stay tuned for any updates on the situation.”
She gasped and covered her mouth after seeing the recent news, “That’s so horrible!”. She then turned her head away from Alya’s phone, refusing to watch any more of it. To have those ten people’s lives cut short by a fire in their home. Her heart bleeds for those who lost their lives in the fire. “Those people’s families must be devastated.”
“Right?” The journalist paused the live report, “And did you hear about the silver arrow? It was the only thing that was found in the rubble,” she began to explain. “No family picture, no beds, nothing else had survived except that arrow.”
Marinette began to be intrigued by the discovery of the lone arrow. It was weird that that arrow was the only thing that survives the apartment fire when nothing else did. Perhaps this is the work of an akuma. She’ll look into this arson case after school ends.

Brenton was listening to classical music as he was messing around with his arrows trying to experiment with different ways to weaponize the arrows. “Hmm, maybe I should try to make plague arrows for an instant death,” he said to himself. “Oh oh! I could make a poison that’ll give someone temporary paralysis. I wonder if things like this ran through the Green Arrow’s head when designing his arrows or maybe Hawkeye’s.” It’s not like Brenton wouldn’t really know, maybe they had technological people to design the arrows.
His phone ringing caught him a bit off guard. He looked at his phone and saw the name on the screen was under the name ‘Boss Man’. Brenton quickly set down the arrow he was working on and pressed the ANSWER button. “Afternoon, sir.”
“Apollo. I just saw the recent news. Congrats. Thanks to your stunt last night, you’ve surely got Ladybug and Chat Noir’s attention now. Job well done.” Brenton felt relieved that the Boss didn’t call with bad news, that his attempt didn’t work, and was ignored. That would’ve been an insult to the Great God himself and to Boss as well. “I’m glad to hear that your plan worked wonders, boss. Do I have any other assignments?”
Honestly, he didn’t want to stop with just one building and the murder of ten people. He wanted to do more, kill more. Brenton felt nothing but an adrenaline-fueled thrill last night, his heart pounding hard and it still is at the moment. His first fire with his newfound powers gave him the rush he never thought he needed.
Please, give him another assignment. Or let him roam free for a while.
He doesn’t care.
Just let him don the suit.
Just let him use his powers to raise hell for the dumb civilians.
“Not an assignment, per se,” the man answered, “but consider this as both extra credit and a little reward for yourself. Not only will you get your 1.7 thousand euros for last night, but you’ll also get double should you manage to have a battle with Ladybug and Chat Noir later on today.”
Oh, a possible battle with the heroes of this city? Brenton couldn’t contain his excitement. A real fight? Count him in. “Of course, sir! You can count on me! Is there anything you want me to do in order to attract their attention once again?”
You could hear Brenton’s boss smirking through this phone once they said, “I think another fire will do, Apollo. Or two or three. Perhaps do multiple across to make sure they see it.”
Yes.
Yes. YES. YES!
Today’s going to be a fun day!
Because Paris gets to officially meet the Great God Apollo in the flesh. The hero duo is about to deal with his divineself.
Not all people are not what they appear to be on the surface. Marinette, unfortunately, doesn't seem to know that this includes herself.

“Auntie Delphine, do you know what my mommy is like?”
Delphine coughed out a puff of smoke when Calliope asked her this. She quickly puts out her cigarette once her coughing fit was finished. “Callie, darling, isn’t this something you should ask your father, not me?” Telling her what her mother’s like isn’t supposed to be her area. Mainly because she doesn't want to tell her and have her brother tell her.
Calliope pouted, “I never get an answer from Daddy. Whenever I asked him about her, he would then start crying and won’t answer me.” Gods know how many times Eugene had done this in front of his daughter.
Now as much as she loved her baby brother Eugene, there are times when Delphine just wants to strangle his neck with this being one of them. But at the same time, she can’t stay real mad at him given that he was used by that woman. Delphine pinched the bridge of her nose as she muttered, “Can’t believe he’s making me do this.” The fashion socialite opened up her laptop and typed in something.
“Come here, sweetheart,” she motioned Calliope to come to sit by her. The 5-year-old blonde did what her aunt asked, leaning against her. She saw that her aunt pulled up a picture of a pretty woman, with blonde hair and blue eyes. “Alright, honey. You see this woman in the middle?”
She nodded, Delphine continued on. “That’s your mother. Her name is Audrey and she is a very famous person in the fashion world.”
“Like you and Daddy?”
“Something along those lines. Just not as famous as us,” Delphine muttered the last part to herself. She then closed her laptop and grabbed her niece’s shoulders, smiling while looking at her. Calliope thankfully only got Audrey’s blonde hair, just much lighter. The rest is from her and Eugene’s family. “Callie, what do you want to be when you’re older?”
The preschooler decided to take the chance to hug her socialite of an aunt before answering with, “I wanna be like you and Daddy! You get to make pretty clothes for people and I wanna do that too!”
You most likely wouldn’t hear her say this, but Delphine’s heart skipped a beat when she heard that.
“In that case, how about I give you an exclusive tour of our workplace today after breakfast?”
Calliope had stars in her eyes, “Really?” She then got off the bed and bolts out the door, heading downstairs.
Once she made sure Calliope was out of sight, Delphine took out a picture of a young Audrey posing with a younger version of her and sneered that the photo. The brunette burnt Audrey’s face ages ago, prior to Calliope’s birth. Oh, how she wishes it was the real thing, but she simply has more important things in mind.
Things that will hurt this horrid woman more than a cigarette burn could ever.
Something that would demean her. Ruin her. Mentally and socially.
“It’ll be freezing in hell before she becomes anything like you, ya succubus. I’ll make sure of that.”
Maybe (hopefully) I'm remembering things wrong, but its just hit me that there is a SIGNIFICANT disadvantage to being a child in the miraculous universe.
An adult miraculous holder can just DO stuff. Run around, pop off their power, oh it didn't work? That's fine! Just do it a second time! Third time! No worries bro!
A CHILD though?? A child needs to be both lucky and tactical in EVERYTHING they do- because if you use your powers at the wrong time, then woops! No re-do! Also from that point you've got like five minutes to solve the situation WITH NO FURTHER POWERS, otherwise you will have your civilian identity revealed to everyone! Which is basically a death sentence! Yay!
Like DEAR MASTER FU
THE HECK
Bro should never even have CONSIDERED giving a miraculous to a child, but no he did it TWICE
And thats not even going into the obvious 'they are CHILDREN' side of things, its just the 'hey they have BASICALLY NO POWERS' side of things, Fu you SUCK-
