yeehaw sent the current version of the defense ppt of to advisor, it is now 12:34 am i am relaxinggg >:] im gonna make a hot chocolate i've been doing nothing but rehearsing and editing all day.

Good news is this is the crispest ppt i've ever made hot damn. probably the thiccest too, lotsa images.

really thinking i won't have too many edits until i actually u know. speak. lololololol once again my natural tendency to speak Blurr-fast is working against me, i'm fighting for my life trying to talk slower. help

i get too nervous for presentations haha i know i know my stuff and i know i have all the information...aahhghhgbhdsiugkkjfasfjkkja ok i've thought enough for one day time to recharge the noodle i'll be just fine haha

2022 May 11

Stayed home from work today because my immune system was ACTIVATED when I woke up. I'm talking swelling, minor fevers, throat spasms, violent coughing fits-- the whole nine. My staying at home was approved by my direct supervisors.

I read/listened to the Bible reading for today, did a little work, ate, drank some kind of health tea my mom bought, a little sleeping (like, nearly two hours), and worked more. Random dives into the internet were sprinkled throughout... Also watched my show during lunch and housework and a little after each and read comics after completing readings for class tomorrow.

Just as I set up to settle in for the night, I found the schedule for master's orals defenses. I'm in the first group on the first day.

Being a graduate student is harder for me than being a teacher. My least favorite part is that I feel unprepared and deeply concerned about what I am being asked to do next. Everyone who knows me is saying I'll be fine... I hope they're right.
