Ooh, Goddess bless you from death has the Master's sun scenario that I love. When the one seeing dead people/ghosts loses the ability and has peace around an unexpected person. It sets up a believer vs. a nonbeliever which creates some interesting conflicts. Also, in this show and Master's sun, the one with powers wants to be around someone who doesn't really want them around, but needs them for something specific related to their powers.
I don't know why I love this set up so much, but I do. Master's sun is high on my list of straight dramas that I would love to see interpreted as a bl (Also, What is wrong with Secretary Kim).

This isn't related to KakaHina, just promoting my first Gojo Satoru fanfic.
I've always wanted to write a Gojo fanfic but I find it hard to do with the canon female characters. Tae Gong Shil from K-drama's Master's Sun (2013) is one of my favorite female characters and I somehow find Gojo suits her more than the Master's Sun male lead.
But I've always loved the obscure pairings anyway.
The Ultimate Shelter
So I've finished a fanfic one-shot of this pair.
Summary
Sometimes the best shelter isn't a place. Sometimes it's a person who's too powerful to care and too intrigued to let you go.
Tae Gong Shil has been running from ghosts her entire life. Then she crashes into a blindfolded stranger in a Gangnam alley, and for the first time in years, the dead go silent.
Relationship:: Gojo Satoru/Tae Gong Shil

*A Master's Sun x Jujutsu Kaisen crossover nobody asked for but I couldn't resist*
*No prior knowledge of either series required—just come for the banter and stay for the feels.*
have you seen Master's Sun? (2013 same people who made Hotel Del Luna and Alchemy of Souls) that was fun at times and the emotional moments hit like a rock (tw for animal death in one episode and child abuse in another) and was cathartic
but the romantic relationships rubbed me the wrong way at times. like the main couple when Gongshil touches the male lead which leads to what ever ghost is following her (or possessing her) being banished and she is unable to see them anymore (considering the ghosts in this world look like the way they died terrifying) it just leads to so much uncomfortable touching. and the second female lead spiked Seo inguk's (only watched it for him. he is the best and deserved better) characters drink with booze and getting him drunk to get info from him (this is the second time a main character had their drinks spiked- the first being with Gongshil by the guy her sister goes onto date and afterwards she got possessed by a ghost and taken to male leads place) can't remember what she wanted but i don't think she got it.
but it was fun seeing the characters grow (not the second female lead as far as i can tell) and become better then they were like Joong-won the male lead had the most growth offering the job to the guy who lost his dog and only friend (army dog that got sick he was ordered to put it down, the good puppers ghost leading them to his owner before it was too late) amongst other things
any ways sorry for the ramble i had to share and have some response from someone other than my sister
I have not seen Master's Sun, sorry. I am very hesitant to watch shows that are from 2013 because the cinematography tends to be pretty bad and I like the pretty new dramas...
Also, I loved Alchemy of Souls but I didn't like Hotel Del Luna, mostly because I found the romantic relationship unbalanced in the latter. The ML was too nice and the FL was too much of a jerk. So I haven't sought out more by those writers because I was disappointed.
Maybe someone else has watched it and can discuss it with you? I hate it when I watch something and no on else seems interested, so I feel you.
down so bad I rewatched master’s sun and it still fucking slaps!!!!!!!! gong hyojin more often than not is always compatable with her co-stars but her acting with so jisub was one for the history books. first and foremost so jisub plays such a unique masculine role with a funky way of speaking that oddly built towards his character and made him really attractive. pairing that with gong hyojin who nails every sweet and delicate character she plays... this drama hit it out of the park and all the way towards pluto. I still love this drama and it had all the elements in a romantic series that I needed. a confused tsundere ceo who couldn’t properly justify his attraction to a bubbly and “penniless” girl, but ultimately falling in love with her so much he loses his own sense of self. then with gong hyojin forging her own path away from him near the end of the drama and becoming a stronger and more independent person only to keep him close to her heart. the jealousy tropes combined with the whole notion of HORROR was just icing on top for me but this drama is simply timeless. I’ve tried watching so jisub elsewhere but joo joongwon is so embedded into him it’s hard for me to seperate the two of them. I love this drama bro... I love 90% of all gong hyojin dramas but this one is definitely top 3
