Leon listened to the playback, nodding approval before giving Aqua in the recording booth a thumbs-up.

Their first single, and it was almost complete.

It seemed like things were actually coming together. No longer were they doing vocals for Garden shows, just keeping on the down-low. He pulled the headphones off and let a smile slowly appear on his features.

The dream was finally coming true. And nothing would be same.

He couldn't believe it. He honestly couldn't. For a long time Laguna wandered from world to world, aimlessly looking for any sign of his son. There had been several moments where a lead led him to a dead end -- filling him with disappointment that caused the aging dark-brunette to tumble into depression.

He'd just about given up when he'd heard of word about Radiant Garden being reconstructed. Somehow. Hope rekindled, because if his son was somewhere why not home, Laguna journeyed back to where everything began.

His first step into Radiant Garden was disorienting. Everything was different from before but there was this aura of familiarity to the world. Clutching his gun, for he had heard heartless were known to wander the area still, Laguna took the first step forward to find his son.

Roxas wandered throughout the dark corridor uncertain of his destination he stumbled into out into a dark realm. Was he still in the portal? He thought he could make someone out in the distance. He decided not to call out, afraid an organization member had followed him. He crept closer cautiously summoning his oblivion and oathkeeper at the ready.

It was hard to remember what had happened. It had all been so quick, everyone so afraid. Shadowy monsters rose from the ground and began to attack in droves. Angeal had rallied the SOLDIERS but there was only so much they could do. Many weapons didn't even seem to connect at all besides Masamune, Rapier and the Buster Sword. Perhaps it was something connected with how strong the three wielders were, but even they weren't enough. Soon the world was engulfed and Angeal found himself lost and confused, in a world of darkness.
