I love how Mrs. Hughes and Mrs. Patmore always have their witty comebacks at the ready for anyone who tries to be snarky with them. They will not stand for it and I absolutely love them for that

“We loved Sanditon and we were very proud to have it on ITV. We would have loved it to return, but unfortunately we just didn’t get the audience that would make that possible for us, which is heartbreaking for everybody involved in this wonderful adaptation," the channel told Radio Times.
All hope isn't lost, just yet...
“Sanditon is yet to air in the US and we hope they may find a way of continuing with this series," ITV added.
GUYS PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH IT WHEN IT AIRS IN THE U.S., IT’S AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PERIOD DRAMA (y’all, i’m always in need of more jane austen adaptations) AND IT CANNOT END ON THAT CLIFFHANGER!!!
