This last weekend I attended this workshop at Parkour Generations where I learned how to make my toes feet ankle legs hips and particularly knees bulletproof and more resilient than any other exercise or stretch I could possibly imagine. I have in the past due to Autism and dyspraxia related disabilities been seen as dysfunctional but I’m a firm believer if there is the will there, nothing is impossible. Now I will be practicing several times a week. Most definitely I’m looking forward to the positive benefits to my motor skills by remapping my brain. And in particularly managing my tree climbing in ways without attending the workshop I would find it very challenging to succeed. I have in the past had to deal with chronic pain. This is why I like movement moving my body in any way I can and giving myself a truly full body workout. This was three number nine that I climbed. I hadn’t climbed the tree before this was my first time yet felt very confident. My next tree workout will not be until Wednesday at the earliest. I need 4 myself 48 hours of recovery time minimum. I came to a point that I had to say to myself no more climbing trees you’ve done enough. The irony of my Tree Climbing is that I do climb on an empty stomach this time 20 hours fasting yet there was no stopping me I wasn’t getting exhausted I could just carry on.
