Hello! My apologies for not posting anything much lately.
From October 26th to the 31st, I was hospitalized for severe vertigo that an MRI revealed was caused by very bad inner ear fluid accumulation/infection that soaked mastoid bones behind my ears (bones that are suppose to be dry).
Although it has now been a month since being out of the hospital, my walking and balance are still a bit off and my sight is also a little iffy (things in distance are a bit blurry), but I am in much better condition than when I got home on Halloween. I can walk further distances without a cane and can draw/read (but not as well as I’d prefer).
My condition will take awhile to restore itself, as it will take some time for the fluid in my ears to eventually dry out. MY balance, equilibrium, and sight won’t be 100% until that happens. It sucks.
My brain overtaxes itself focusing on coordination, balance, reading, observations, etc---regular tasks (even minute as being on the computer) reduces my endurance and increases fatigue. I constantly need rest and feel tired most of the time. But, I am recovering, very slowly. It took a long time for my inner ears to get so bad, and will take a long time for them to dry out.
For now, please enjoy this Sourpuss Comix I scanned before the whole mess began. I edited it last week and posted on my other social media like FB and the Tweeter.
