I still can’t get over how Helen set Guy up to be a honeypot🍯 spy and how Jasper fell right into the jar! 🤭
I hope Guy and Jasper become companions in the series and if they do… they need to send Helen a nice gift for playing match maker!

Day in Fandom History: March 30…
After receiving a failing grade on her math test, Star decides to convince her teacher, Ms. Skullnick, to change her grade by helping with her love life by making her beautiful, but accidentally turns her into a troll. “Match Maker” premiered on this day, 10 Years Ago.
Morgan was incredibly excited for the upcoming tech expo her dad and Peter were going to for the weekend. It gave her the perfect opportunity to get the pair together using a fool proof plan she'd found on the internet. She'd convinced Friday to help her out by 'accidentally' booking a double room for her dad and Peter instead of a twin before making the hotel think that they fully booked during the weekend so they couldn't swap. What Morgan didn't know however was the Tony had already asked Peter out on a date a day or so before her match making attempts started. And that like the good AI (daughter) Friday was she naturally told Tony about Morgans plan. Upon telling Peter over coffee the pair agreed it was too adorable not to see to completion. It also helped the pair going forward with their new relationship, if Morgan was so invested in them being a couple it must mean she was ok with her dad dating again, so no messy situation was on the horizon thankfully. The determination on her face as she talked to Friday gave Tony another idea to run past Peter, to let her plan 'succeed' in getting them together. It would make for a cute embarrassing anecdote about Morgan when she grows up after all.

Are you still doing self-aware/player Esper headcanons? If so, how would the Espers (in general, no specifics) react to a matchmaking player? Like, they would often pair certain Espers together, even if their skills seem to have anti-synergy. To the point that everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is now suspicious. But the player is also considerate of the Esper's feelings so they stop if they sense any discomfort and refusal in the person they match together
Sorry if this was too long btw, love your headcanons!
So I read this and thought of it being a mix of the two aus, like, for example, reader is an esper but self aware/knows the plot and stuff? No one else is self aware but player but the others get suspicious
I'm glad you enjoy reading my headcannons!!<33
There's not going to be any specific ships or characters mentioned because everyone has different opinions on ships and stuff-so it may seem shorter because I'm covering a broader area of personalities
Gender neutral reader
Warnings: none, not proofread, probably some grammatical errors
Match-Maker
I kinda image that in this au, player esper(or reader) would be like that one best friend that is love crazy and 'ships'
The espers would be skeptical-
They'd get suspicious when you start talking about lore, that they haven't told you or hasn't happened yet
They'd be confused when you talk about how compatible they are, and it sometimes gets to the point where it sounds like you aren't talking about actual human beings
They get very suspicious about you, and when you giggle and way it off as nothing even though they head you mumble something like: "it was like like that fanart!"
So, basically, even though player/self aware reader esper is in that world- they see what we see
Through their own eyes and such, it would be harder to explain to someone who wasn't self aware like everyone else that's a character in the game
Some are concerned, some are freaked out, some don't care, some are a mix of all or a few
However, if a pair feels discomfort and it's shown whether through body language, eyes, or words- they see the slight guilt in your eyes and suddenly...it stops
They know now that yes, you have a match-making persona but won't go too far and they are pretty chill with that
And there are, in fact, ships that work out perfectly
You become their go-to maid of honor/best man because you got them together!
I guarantee, GUARANTEE, at least a few espers are going to find out you are self aware
They ask you if anyone ships them with anyone, you proceed to admit that yes there are ships. Yes there is fanart. Yes there is fanfiction. Yes, we, the fan base, are concerning and fueled off coffee, anxiety, and lack of sleep, FEAR US.
Thank you for reading. Reblogs are greatly appreciated.
