Imagine your f/o helping you deal with pain:
If you're having mild, mundane pains, your f/o will bring you some medicine, along with your favorite drink and maybe some snacks!
They'll offer to lay down with you so you can just enjoy some calming affection until you start to feel a little better. If you end up falling asleep, they'll keep on holding you until you're ready to get up.
If you're aching a bit more intensely, your f/o will offer to give you a massage or to fetch you some hearing pads. They're careful not to hurt you and make sure everything's set up just right.
They'll offer you their hand to squeeze when the feeling gets overwhelming, no worries, they can handle it! You'll also be getting plenty of kisses and cuddles to try and get your mind off of it.
If you're struggling with chronic pain, your f/o will help you out through the usual motions to alleviate it. Stretches, quick and at home physiotherapy sessions, medicine… Anything to help your body go a bit easier on you.
Flare ups can be rough and your f/o knows it, so they'll do whatever possible to cancel any plans that may make you feel worse, as well as taking care of any work that needs to be done. You'll have a day to catch your breath and rest.
If you're taking care of wounds or injuries, your f/o will be the first one to be by your side. If you need to go to the hospital, they'll take you there. If they can treat you by themselves, they'll do their best to patch you up.
If you already have everything disinfected and bandaged, your f/o will help you take care of yourself! No heavy work and if you need mobility aids, they'll help you navigate through your surroundings more safely.
Your f/o hates to see you in pain, so they're more than happy to help you out however they can! From small gestures to tackling any responsibilities you can't handle right now, they'll make sure you're able to rest up while they're around.
Their love and care for you won't falter just because you aren't feeling your best, they'll do everything they can to make things easier for you, from speaking more quietly and softly, to carrying you around when you can't get on your feet!
