Hi guys,

I finally found something to try from Fenty Beauty I haven’t before ( I know I’m surprised too) today we’re going to be talking about the Fenty Beauty Matte Matchstix £21.00.

Now before I confused anyone I have previous used the contour and highlighter sticks BUT I have never tried the concealer formula. Reason being I was worried that it would look really bad or it would dry my under eyes out if I applied it there. But like all Fenty products never assume until you try it because you always end up surprised. So after seeing lots of tutorials and people raving about this formula I decided to try it myself and like always I was pleasantly surprised. Considering this a matte finish product the formula is surpringly creamy when you apply it and blend it in which really through me. I’d say it’s a medium coverage you can build up for a full coverage look. It’s such a easy product to use when you once you work out how to use the formula. It starts off as a dry formula because it’s designed to last a long time but then when warm up the product on your hand it turned into a cream formula.

When you think of stick makeup you either love it or you hate it and I always found them to be awful products to blend with foundations because they remove product but the Fenty stick blends like a dream. I use it on top of my Pro Filt’r Foundation which is a full coverage matte foundation and it blends like a charm. It doesn’t remove product and it turned into a lovely cream formula when you’re blending it. I have found it to be very long lasting as a under eye concealer and doesn’t make my eyes look dry which I was really surprised about. Also like the other products I adore the packaging and love the fact that all the match Stix are magnetic and connect together.

You can buy trio packs that are designed for different skin tones and they come with a concealer, highlighter and contour shade which I probably should of bought originally because I would of saved money but I didn’t know I would like the formula so I bought the Stix in stages. Because I wear shade 120 I was recommended the shade linen which for my fair skin tone works like a dream. Recently in my makeup routine I’ve been using this concealer under powder foundation and not only does it offer great coverage it also holds the powder in place under my eyes for longer. For someone like myself who loves a liquid concealer I was pleasantly surprised so moral of the story try something new, especially if it’s from Fenty Beauty. Primers- Studio Perfect Photo Loving Primer by Nyx and Primer Potion in Original Formula by Urban Decay.

Eyeshadow- furthest right bottom shadow above the crease with some of the furthest left bottom shadow on top of that. Next I blended out some of the center bottom shadow in the crease, and applied some by finger to pack the color on to my eyelids, all from the Violets Palette by Juvia’s Place.

Mascara- Voluminous Primer by L’Oréal, Mega Length by Wet N Wild, and Lash Paradise by L’Oréal.

Eyeliner- 24/7 Eye Pencil in Viper by Urban Decay.

Inner Eye Highlight- Super Shock Shadow in Ice Dream by Colourpop.

Concealer- Conceal and Define in C3 by Makeup Revolution.

Highlighter- Match Stix in Confetti by Fenty Beauty.

Setting Spray- Photo Focus by Wet N Wild.

Powder- All Nighter by Urban Decay.

Lipstick- Lip Lacquer in Unplugged Violet (no longer sold) by Revlon and Lip Gloss in Bloom by Sugarpill.

Also taking this opportunity to show that you can still look fabulous with a mask. Please wear them to protect immune compromised people like me.

Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Confetti

Hi guys, 

I have been going through my Fenty Beauty collection and wanted to try using some products I haven’t used in a while and after watching Nikkie Tutorials getting her makeup done by the Fenty team I found the perfect product.

I’m sure we all know about the Fenty Beauty Match Stix Matte Skinstick, £21.00 and I have the shade Amber which is the perfect cool toned contour shade for fair skin. Now I have tried using this product before and found it pretty dry so I decided to look up the tutorial to see where I was going wrong and straight away I had the answer. 

For those who forgot this stick is a magnetized contour & concealer stick with a longwear,matte formula to conceal, correct, contour, and touch up in 20 shades. These sticks are designed to start off dry so in the long run they don’t go off even if you loose the lid so to activate the product you first have to warm it up on your hand and suddenly it becomes a creamy formula easy to blend and use as you wish. Especially for contour purposes these sticks also don’t crease or cake your face so when you apply them on top of foundation they still blend like a charm. 

For me personally Amber is the perfect contour shade for my complexion and skintone and once the product has been activated and applied to the skin whether by hand and brush or straight from the stick it’s easy to blend with a brush or a sponge. I really didn’t get on too well with this product when I first got it which was a while ago but after seeing the tutorials it made perfect sense and now it’s my favourite contour product. For someone like myself who isn’t a natural at contour products like this make it really easy to apply and blend.
