Who wants a slice of Matcha + Lime tart with dark chocolate + almond crust? 🙋🏽♀️🌿 Made by @deliciously.earthy 💚💚 The matcha filling is creamy from the coconut milk with a zingy lime twist, and completely made with healthy + plant-based ingredients! 🌱🙌🏼 Here's the recipe 🔽 Ingredients 🍫 For the base 🍫 1 cup almonds 1/2 cup pitted dates 1 tbs coconut oil 1 bar salted almond dark chocolate 2 tsp cacao powder 💫 Whizz the base ingredients up in your blender until its fine + crumbly 💫 Press the mixture into your tart casing so it's compacted in + set in the freezer while you make your filling 💚 For the filling 💚 2.5 cups full fat coconut milk 1/2 cup lime juice 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 tbs cornflour 1.5 tsp agar / vegan gelatine 3 tsp matcha powder 💫 mix together all the ingredients, apart from the coconut milk so powders are dissolved + heat on low-med heat in your pan 💫 as the mixture starts to boil + thicken up, add in the coconut milk + stir until combined 💫 let thicken up on low heat whilst stiring, for 2 mins 💫 leave the mixture to cool to room temp (transfer to a fresh big bowl, it will be quicker!) It will take approx an hour to thicken- stir it 💫 Once at room temp, pour the mixture over the base + leave to set in the fridge 💫 Top + decorate, and cut yourself a slice!
