Creamery Boutique Ice-Cream JB located at Mount Austin is where sweet tooth craving is fulfilled. The origin of this dessert shop is from Bangkok and it has been opened a lot of outlets in Johor Bahru and Kuala Lumpur. They tried to set up an outlet in Singapore being their latest venture. Creamery is a revolutionary ice-cream that serves premium homemade ice-cream with a passion.
Creamery Boutique Ice-Cream JB is well-known for their lava cookies. It is one of the cafés not to miss as they serve oozing lava cookies from Thailand. They focus on small-batch premium homemade production to maintain the exceptional quality of their ice-creams. It was said that all their recipes are original, exclusive and personally developed to include a unique Creamery twist. Creamery sells their handmade cookies to attract more dessert lovers.
The signature of Creamery which is basically served the lava cookies in the pot with a scoop of ice-cream on top of the cookies. If you are the first time here, check out their huge signboard next to the ice-cream display. To order, you may choose whether normal scoops or want it to come with brownie or lava. For example, Red Velvet, Matcha Lava, Brownie, and Choco Lava. Their signature cookies are Matcha Lava and Choco Lava.
Moreover, they also provide a variety of ice-cream flavour as Mix Berry Cheese, Baby Milk, Chocolate, Green Tea and so on. It is free to test the ice-cream before choosing a scoop of ice-cream out of their 12 choices. Orders and payments are made at the counter and the staff will deliver it. To maintain the authenticity, the recipe that all outlets using are totally similar to Bangkok.
Even though they are more emphasized on ice-cream, they also provide the mineral water in order to let the customer quench their thirst. The brownie and lavas are cooked on the spot so you can enjoy the fresh and warm oozing lavas! We waited for like 5 minutes or so, here is our ice cream lavas!
Brownie cookies & Baby Milk ice cream (RM16.90)

We picked the brownie cookie with one scoop of baby milk ice-cream at RM16.90. We were surprised to see our dessert being served on a saucepan with our favourite ice-cream topped on the hot pan-fried brownie cookie. Scooping some ice-cream and a chunk of cookie from the pan and savour the sweetness on our palate was simply awesome! A bit of chill from the ice-cream, and a bit of warmth from the cookie tantalized our taste bud. We were quite satisfied with the perfect match of the brownie cookie and baby milk ice-cream.
Matcha lava cookies & Thai Tea ice cream (RM16.90)

We ordered the matcha lava cookie with Thai tea ice-cream. The moment the scoop of ice cream falls on top of the soft cookie, the lava ooze out beautifully and penetrated with the ice-cream. That’s when everyone went ‘WOW’. The rich matcha lava is mildly bitter, which we thought didn’t go too well with the Thai tea ice-cream. Thai ice cream is not bad either as the tea taste in it is strong. It is quite a good match! If you are a matcha lover, we strongly recommend you come and try this matcha lava cookie!!
Overall, we really love the combination of lava cookie and ice-cream and they have become one of our favourite! We hope that they will maintain their current quality and keep on innovating more new ice-cream flavours and cookie flavour.
